High-Speed Bottling Counting Line with Advanced CCD Vision Inspection System

High-Speed Bottling Counting Line with Advanced CCD Vision Inspection System 1
The complete production workflow is smooth and logically arranged. It starts with a bottle unscrambler, which sorts and arranges scattered bottles orderly and feeds them to the next station. Afterwards, an air rinser with negative ion blowing thoroughly cleans the inside of bottles to remove dust and contaminants, meeting strict hygiene requirements. A desiccant inserter then automatically places desiccant sachets into bottles to keep internal contents dry. After the core counting and filling process, bottles go through dual quality inspection by weight checkers and metal detectors to eliminate unqualified products. Subsequently, screw cappers complete tight capping, round bottle labelers finish surface labeling, and neck banders carry out neck shrink wrapping. Finally, a rotary collection table gathers all finished bottles. Every standalone machine boasts stable performance and easy commissioning, and the unified control logic enables seamless connection between all units, ensuring the whole production line operates continuously and efficiently.
The absolute highlight of this production line is the high-performance 16-channel CCD counting and filling machine, a vision-powered counting device that outperforms conventional infrared counting equipment in every aspect and serves as the core guarantee for production accuracy and efficiency. More importantly, it is designed with excellent universal interfaces and matching control protocols, enabling effortless linkage with upstream and downstream devices such as screw cappers and labeling machines, and can be flexibly integrated into diversified automated production layouts.
High-Speed Bottling Counting Line with Advanced CCD Vision Inspection System 2
Equipped with professional high-resolution CCD camera modules, this counting machine boasts far superior detection performance compared with traditional infrared sensors. Traditional infrared sensors only feature 10 to 15 detection points per channel, while each channel of this CCD system is fitted with approximately 250 independent imaging points, achieving a detection precision up to 0.12 mm. This ultra-fine detection capability lays a solid foundation for accurate identification of tiny solid particles. The machine adopts a three-stage vibration feeding structure, which runs smoothly and disperses tablets, capsules and gummies one by one. It effectively prevents material stacking and overlapping, and maintains stable feeding even when handling irregularly shaped products or coated tablets that are prone to adhesion, fundamentally reducing the risk of miscounting.
Benefiting from advanced image recognition algorithms, the CCD vision system realizes multiple core intelligent detection functions that conventional equipment cannot match. First of all, it can accurately identify overlapped and double-layered materials. Since falling particles can never be completely overlapped, the system calculates the projection area of each product to distinguish stacked items, with recognition accuracy over ten times higher than infrared sensors. Secondly, it has the function of removing broken fragments. By comprehensively detecting the width, thickness and falling trajectory of particles, the system can clearly tell intact products from tiny broken scraps, and automatically reject unqualified fragments as small as one-third of a standard product, greatly improving finished product quality.
Dust resistance is another major advantage of this CCD counting machine. The cameras are installed far away from the material feeding area where dust is generated, avoiding direct contamination of the lens. Meanwhile, the matched high-brightness adjustable backlight system works with intelligent algorithms: the light source brightness will automatically increase along with the accumulation of dust, ensuring clear imaging at all times. The equipment is also built with an automatic air-blowing dust removal mechanism for the sensing area, which cleans dust regularly during operation. Operators do not need to halt production to clean sensor windows frequently, maximizing continuous production time.
The overall counting accuracy of the machine reaches 99.98% to 99.99%. It is integrated with a full-set automatic rejection linkage system. Once the vision system detects abnormal filling quantities, missing particles or mixed broken pieces, the rejection mechanism will instantly separate unqualified bottles from the production line, stopping defective products from flowing into the next process. The filling volume can be flexibly set within the range of 1 to 1000 pieces per bottle, adapting to diverse packaging specifications.
In terms of mechanical structure and daily maintenance, the machine adopts a modular integrated design and supports tool-free disassembly. All feeding trays, sensing components and material guide parts can be quickly disassembled and assembled without any tools, which simplifies regular deep cleaning, model replacement and equipment maintenance. This design also avoids hidden dangers such as loose screws and small parts falling into materials caused by long-term vibration. The whole machine is constructed with SS304 stainless steel for the main frame and SS316L stainless steel for parts in direct contact with materials, fully complying with GMP, FDA and food-grade hygiene standards.
For operational control and data management, the counting machine is equipped with an industrial human-machine touch screen. It supports both automatic and manual operation modes, as well as three-level authority management to standardize operation permissions. A built-in 32G memory card enables full-process video and data recording, which can store particle projection images and corresponding production time for up to one year. This complete data record facilitates full product traceability, equipment fault analysis and production parameter optimization. Operators can view real-time camera imaging, historical production data and fault alarm information directly on the screen. In addition, the system reserves remote upgrade interfaces, allowing technicians to remotely update the vision algorithm, control program and motherboard system, making after-sales maintenance more efficient.
The feeding and filling unit adopts a dual-axis cylinder drive structure, which operates stably and gently. The cylinder-controlled material gate can effectively prevent hard contact and avoid crushing tablets and capsules during blanking. The bottle holding nozzle supports adjustable vibration during filling, which prevents large-sized pills from getting stuck and small particles from jumping out. The bottle carrying height can be electrically adjusted via the touch screen to fit bottles ranging from 15 ml to 650 ml. A complete photoelectric interlock protection system is configured: the machine will automatically pause when encountering empty bottles, bottle jams or material shortage, and resume operation automatically after faults are removed, reducing material waste and equipment loss. This interlock signal can also be synchronously transmitted to connected screw cappers, labelers and other devices, realizing unified start, stop and fault linkage for the whole line.
Furthermore, the equipment is equipped with a high-performance four-core processor to ensure stable scanning cycles. It completes one round of scanning for every 1 mm of falling particles, delivering consistent and reliable detection results. The optimized full-wave frequency conversion vibration module lowers operating noise by at least 10 decibels compared with ordinary counting machines, creating a quieter and more comfortable working environment for the workshop.
Thanks to its strong compatibility and standardized signal interfaces, the CCD counting machine can be freely combined with different peripheral units to customize exclusive production lines according to actual production demands. Users can select and match screw capping machines for sealed packaging, labeling machines for product marking, neck banders for anti-counterfeiting and tamper-proof packaging, or add weight checkers and metal detectors for multi-dimensional quality control. Whether it is a compact semi-automatic production line or a large-scale fully automated production line, this core counting device can achieve perfect matching and synchronous operation with supporting machines.
This high-speed bottling counting line with advanced CCD vision inspection combines high productivity, ultra-high precision and intelligent management. The flexible collocation capability with capping, labeling and other peripheral equipment meets diversified production layout requirements. It effectively solves multiple pain points of traditional counting equipment and production lines, and serves as an ideal automated solution for medium and large manufacturers to boost production efficiency, strengthen quality control and cut labor costs.
