Successful Application of Full-Automatic Blister Packing Line for Brazilian Pharmaceutical & Health Product Manufacturer
The full-automatic blister packing production line is a core essential equipment for standardized packaging in the pharmaceutical, food and health supplement industries. With reliable operation stability, high production efficiency and compliant packaging quality, our blister packaging solutions have won wide praise from numerous South American clients. Recently, we have successfully delivered and commissioned a complete blister packing production line for a professional pharmaceutical and health product manufacturer based in Brazil, helping the customer achieve automated, high-precision and cost-effective packaging upgrading.
Our Brazilian client is a well-known local enterprise focusing on the production and sales of generic drugs, vitamin capsules and functional health tablets. Its products cover the whole Brazilian market and are exported to surrounding South American countries. Before the cooperation, the customer’s original packaging workshop adopted semi-automatic decentralized equipment. The separate processes of blister forming, material filling, heat sealing and die-cutting required a large number of manual operations. This traditional production mode had prominent pain points: low daily output, inconsistent packaging finished product quality, high defective rate, and excessive labor and time costs. In addition, the old equipment could not meet the latest Brazilian pharmaceutical production safety standards and GMP workshop compliance requirements, restricting the enterprise’s market expansion and product certification progress.
After in-depth communication with the customer’s production and technical teams, we conducted on-site verification of the workshop layout, product specifications, daily output targets and local industry certification standards. Combining the characteristics of Brazil’s mainstream packaging materials and market demand, we customized a full-automatic integrated blister packing production line for the client. The equipment supports mainstream packaging materials such as PVC, PVC/PVDC composite film and aluminum-plastic film, fully adapting to the packaging needs of the customer’s various tablets, capsules and health products.
This customized blister line realizes one-stop automatic production including automatic feeding, precise thermoforming, intelligent material filling, constant-temperature heat sealing, batch number coding, edge trimming and finished product blanking. Equipped with a mature PLC intelligent control system, the equipment features simple operation, stable operation and low failure rate. Meanwhile, we adopted a quick mold replacement structure, enabling the customer to complete product specification switching and parameter adjustment in a short time, effectively solving the problem of frequent product model replacement in the customer’s production process.
After on-site installation, commissioning and professional operation and maintenance training, the equipment has been put into formal mass production stably. The actual production data shows that the customer’s daily packaging capacity has increased by more than 280%, the product defective rate has been controlled below 0.3%, and the number of on-site operators has been greatly reduced, effectively saving long-term labor costs for the enterprise. More importantly, the standardized and automated packaging process fully meets Brazilian local pharmaceutical production specifications and international GMP certification requirements, helping the customer successfully complete product standard upgrading, further stabilize the local market share, and expand export business in South America.
Up to now, our blister packing production lines have been widely applied in South America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions. We always provide one-stop customized solutions including pre-sales scheme design, workshop layout planning, on-site installation and commissioning, free technical training and lifelong after-sales maintenance services. We continue to help global customers, especially South American market partners, optimize production efficiency, reduce comprehensive costs and enhance core market competitiveness with high-quality packaging equipment and professional services.
