High speed tablet press is fully automatic type, the granule material will be pressed to tablet after one pair pre-press wheel and one pair main press wheel.
Generally, the granule for tablet press should meet the following requirement:
If the weight of tablet less than 0.3g, the granule should be sieved by 16~20 meshes screen.
If the weight of tablet more than 0.3g, the granule should be sieved by 10~14 meshes screen.
Liquid water content of granule should be 1%~5%.
Half-solid powder, damp powder, fine granule are not good for tablet pressing.
Upon the -51/65/83series tablet press machine, there is a full-sealed tablet press room. All the parts connect to the powder are made of austenite stainless steel, non-metal parts adopt innoxiously material. All the four transparent windows can be opened to clean the machine.
Below part of the machine is sealed by stainless steel door, and there are drive equipments in it. It guarantees the safety and decrease the noise. The best tablet press process including five steps, filling, measuring, pre-pressing, main-pressing and tablet discharging. The tablet press machine is fully controlled by the touch screen on the electric cabinet.

3.Unpacking and debugging
3.1 Clean
After unpacking, check the packing list first to guarantee all the accessories are correct.
Notice: After unpacking, check if the equipment is damaged, if found, report to the shipping company immediately.
Before transporting, each part of the automatic tablet press machine was protected. So all the protect materials should be cleaned.
3.2 Installation
The machine should be installed on the four anti-vibration gasket iron. And the gasket irons are connected with the bottom of the machine shelf by screw, the gasket irons should be put on the ground directly. The automatic tablet press machine is not suggested to contact the ground directly to avoid noise.
3.3Electric connection
Notice: An electric engineer should be arranged to take care of the electric connection.
Connect the machine to the switchboard, wire and socket should be marked.
If it is necessary, change the circuit in the workshop. Generally, lead the wire from electric cabinet to roof, then lead the wire from roof to the back side of the equipment directly. It can avoid the wire to connecting the automatic tablet press machine from ground.
3.4 Turn table direction
The correct direction is from left to right at the sight of front of the machine.
3.5 Commissioning
The first commissioning time should last 30 hours, the rotate speed should less than 70% of the max speed of the machine.
3.5.1Before the commissioning, the machine should be guaranteed without punch.
Dismount the loader on the platform.
Open PLC, about 1 minute after equip starting, the screen will display customer level 0 entrance. At this state, press “customer level 0” on the top right corner, then enter customer level permission setting, enter the password “333”, and enter, then enter customer level 3. Now, you can press “jog” button, the machine start rotating, notice if the rotate direction is correct. Press “material load” button, observe if the load motors both side are rotating.
When the machine is under this state, the below punches that on two main-pressing and two pre-pressing and zero position on the filling should have been adjusted. Zero position is the position from lower punches to middle punch table surface. All the punches are controlled by coder to adjust the punch position on the base of middle punch table. Zero position is good to find out the related position.
4.Operation
In the first installation, you should ensure that the power line has been connected to the power terminal of the electric control tank reliably (L1.L2.L3.N.PE). If you got a wrong connection, it may cause the personnel damage.
The electric control tank is equipped with the lock and key, the key should be kept by the special person. (Only the qualified electric man or the person who has been trained can do the maintenance).
Check whether the bolt in the electric control tank is flexible once every three months.
Check the grounding line once a year (the equipment must be earthed reliable). the insulated resistance and the grounding should satisfy GB5226-98.
Run the tablet making machinery after a long time or change the dies, you should rotate the turn plate by hand wheel (or hand grip) first, and then you can start it after you are sure that there has no abnormal sound and stagnation.
4.1 Turn on the switch of the main power supply
The touch screen will display the data and with the main menu display.
4.2 Inching running
Open the running menu, when all the function states are in gear, cut the working state to the inspection state, push the “inching” button, the turn plate and the vane of the feeder will rotate. Raise you hand, the turn plate and the feeder will stop. Turn to the working state, and if you inching the tablet making machinery, it will not run.
4.3 Work continuously
Under the “running” state, push the “start” button and the alarm light will glisten, the buzzer will tweet as well. The mainframe will start to rotate first, and then the feeding motor will start. The unloader turns to be the waster, after 15 seconds it will turn to be the finished product place. Thus the machine enters into the running state. Under the working state, all the functions should be installed and regulate to the suitable place. The organic glass door should be closed.
Note: at the beginning, you should pay more attention to the place of the upper and lower pinch roller and prevent any collision of the upper and lower punch surface.
4.4 Regulation of the feeding
According to the requirements, choose the filling track according to the GZPK series data table and you can regulate the filling depth of the powder through the touch screen.
4.5 Pressure and thickness
The main pressure and the pre-pressure come from the rigidity connection of the pinch roller. The pressure is monitored through the pressure sensor in the shell. You can set the allowed pressure of the system on the touch screen and regulate the pre-set pressure according to requirements of different tablets.
The size of effective pressure can be realized by regulating the thickness on the touch screen: to the same filling dosage, reduce the thickness and the pressure will be raised; raise the thickness and the pressure will be reduced.
4.6 Pre-pressing
The aim of the pre-pressing is to get rid of the air of the powders in the punch and die, and add some pre-pressing force to make the medicine to be in the semi-shaped state and it can shorten the operation time of the main pressure, reduce the vibration and noise of the machine, prolong the molding time, raise the quality and production efficiency.
If the pre-pressing force is too high, this won’t raise the production efficiency, on the contrary, it can cause a larger noise and abrasion. Generally, make the medicine to be semi-shaped at the pre-pressing place. The regulation can use the following rules:
——regulation of the upper pre-pressing wheel, loosen the retention screw on the location-plate of the upper pre-pressing wheel axis, and rotate the axis by the big spanner to make it at a suitable place and then fix the location-plate;
——regulation of the lower pre-pressing wheel; regulate the position of the lower punch on the touch screen. The difference of the lower punch position value set on the touch screen and the value on the location-plate is the thickness of the tablet at the pre-pressing place. Make it to be half of the final thickness. Note that you could not only regulate the upper or lower pre-pressing wheel, pay attention to the cooperation with the main pressing wheel when you do the regulation to make punches which are between the upper pre-pressing wheel and the upper main pressing wheel, the lower pre-pressing wheel and the lower main pressing wheel to be in a stable state, or it will raise the vibration and noise.
To the same kinds of tablet, the pinch roller should be regulated to the same place.
4.7 Lubricate
The main parts of the equipment which need to be lubricated are: the worm wheel cases need the lubrication; the center of the equipment need to be lubricated; grease lubricant
The lubrication that the worm wheel case used is No. 460 worm wheel oil.
The main lubricating place of the center is: the top of the upper punch, the punch body and the body of the lower punch.
