Core Working Principle
The machine uses a rotating turret (equipped with punch-die sets) to complete three key stages sequentially: filling → compression → ejection — all synchronized to run continuously for high-efficiency production.
Step-by-Step Process
Material Filling
Granular raw materials (e.g., pharmaceutical powders, food supplements) are loaded into the hopper.
The gravity feeder (easily installable/removable) guides materials into the die cavities (the "molds" on the rotating turret).
The turret rotates, and each die passes under the feeder to be filled with a precise volume of material — controlled by the filling depth (max 15mm for UBM168-10 IPTD) to ensure consistent tablet weight.
Compression Forming
As the filled die moves to the compression zone, two punches (upper and lower) act on the material.
The upper punch descends, and the lower punch rises, squeezing the granular material between them with a set pressure (max 50KN for this model).
The high-precision lower punch tracks and edge-locked middle die ensure stable compression, turning loose granules into dense, shaped tablets (round, oval, or custom via IPT D tooling).

Tablet Ejection
After compression, the turret continues rotating to the ejection zone.
The lower punch rises further, pushing the finished tablet out of the die cavity.
